Akwa Ibom State Governor Udom Emmanuel has flagged off the construction of ring road 3 within Uyo metropolis as part of his commitment to the infrastructural development of the state.
Speaking when he commissioned the 1.10 kilometers access road to Atlantic fm and its environs in Uyo, the Governor who restated that infrastructure is the bedrock of his industrialization policy, reaffirmed his determination to open up more roads to enhance the socio-economic development of the state.
Also speaking after commissioning the 1.28 kilometres concrete Hotel Road in Ewet housing estate, 0.45 kilometers youth Avenue road in Mbiabong Etoi and inspection of the Uyo Etinan road, the Governor who noted that he has so far intervened in 28 internal roads within the state capital, assured the people of his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to them by their support.
Government house Correspondent Jane Uwa reports that after several speeches by various government functionaries in commendation of the Governor, the village head of Mbiabong Etoi, Eteidung Sunday Asuquo and his Nsukara Offot counterpart Eteidung Eyo Asuquo in their respective remarks, appreciated Udom for coming to their aid and pledged to continuously support his government.
