The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress has presented the party’s flag to its governorship candidate in Kogi State, Abubakar Audu.
This came as the ruling party prepares for the forthcoming governorship election scheduled for November 21st in the north-central state of Nigeria.
Presenting the flag to the candidate at the Lokoja Confluence Stadium in Lokoja the state capital, the National Chairman of the APC, John Oyegun, said it was time for Kogi State to join the change train and move forward, stressing that APC was ready to take over the State from the ruling People’s Democratic Party and urged residents to vote en mass for the party’s candidate.
In his response, Audu, vowed to pay the state government’s workers all their accumulated arrears if elected.
