The Christian association of Nigeria, -CAN Akwa Ibom state chapter, is organising a two day non-denominational service in Uyo tagged ‘The Dominion Mandate’ slated to hold at Ibom hall grounds, Babangida avenue, Uyo beginning from today Wednesday March 14 by 5pm and will end tomorrow Thursday March 15 march by 9am.
According to a release made available to Planet news and signed by the Akwa Ibom State Chapter Chairman of CAN, Dr Ndueso Ekwere, the Akwa Ibom state Christian assembly therefore calls on the state executive, Bloc leaders and the entire Christians in the state to be a part of the event aimed at articulating God’s dominion mandate.
The statement further encourages all Christians to sheath their differences and extol the great strides of the present governor Udom Emmanuel-led administration.
The CAN chairman who also used the opportunity to talk on the nation’s political
situation, urged the Independent National Electoral Commission- INEC, to ensure that her staff are at the designated places where they can be accessible for voters’ registration, noting that reports has it that most stations are bereft of relevant registration officers at the time people go for registration.
