Arturo Vidal and Eduardo Vargas scored late as Chile beat Cameroon 2-0 in Group B in a game marred by another controversy surrounding the video assistant referee -VAR.
In the game dominated by the South Americans, the officials and the VAR were the talking point after Michael Ngadeu’s header from a free-kick was ruled out for a marginal offside.
Earlier in a Group A encounter, Pepe’s goal was also ruled out in Portugal’s 2-2 draw against Mexico.
