Barely two weeks after President Muhammadu Buhari flagged off the construction of the 260kilomatres superhighway in Cross River State, German quality control experts have arrived the state to ensure strict compliance to international best practice.
Speaking to newsmen in Calabar, shortly on arrival, some of the expatriates, Frank Neobaver and Gauther Honisch said they were eager to kick start the projects which they described as very iconic in Africa by ensuring quality delivery and on time line.
Also speaking, the Special Assistant to the Governor, Technical, Eric Akpo, who reiterated that work on the superhighway is currently ongoing, maintained that the Governor wants to ensure that all his projects are delivered according to international standard without compromise at any point no matter how challenging the terrain will be.
