Presenting the petition on behalf of a civil society organisation, Anti-corruption Network, the Chairman, House Committee on Army, Representative Shawulu Kwewum, alleged that Umar was to be arrested based on the recommendation of the former Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke.
Kwelum insisted that the CCT Chairman be made to face the law in compliance with the recommendations of the former Attorney-General of the Federation.
