The Vice Chancellor, Ritman University, Professor Celestine Ntuen, who gave the charge in his address during the institution’s second matriculation ceremony, charged the new students to always work to achieve success in their different fields of studies and encouraged them to develop a workable study habit, accept useful criticisms and importantly, seek help from the counseling office.

Responding, one of the newly admitted students, while appreciating the university management for providing suitable learning environment for them to study, pledged to pursue their studies diligently and to observe the rules, regulations and code of conduct of the university.

Highpoint of the event was presentation of award to some undergraduate students in recognition of their outstanding academic performance.

Ritman University which provides active courses in natural and applied sciences, humanities and management sciences, started with 31 students in its first year and now has more than 111 students in second year with 51per cent female and 49 per cent male students’ ratio.

As admission is in progress, it would be recalled that American university Greensboro College North Carolina has signed an academic exchange agreement with Ritman University which staff and students of both institutions will periodically exchange lecturers, share ideas, information and materials in research, conferences and other professional development programs.
