Nigeria beats Central Africa Republic in Afro-basketball Championship in Tunisia.

Nigeria’s men Basketball Team D’Tigers began their quest for glory in the Afro-basketball Championship with an 88-63 points win against Central Africa Republic yesterday in Tunisia.

Even in the absence of power forward Ike Diougu due to injury, D’Tigers  were in control as Al-Farouq Aminu had a team high 15points, Chamberlain Oguchi had 14points and every player had at least 2 points in the game.

D’Tigers next game will come up tomorrow when they file out against Uganda before playing host Tunisia in their last group game on Sunday.
