Nigeria Labour Congress resolves leadership crisis.

A seven man committee has been set up to ensure the Nigeria Labour Congress-NLC is run on the basis of inclusion, as part of resolutions adopted to end the union’s leadership crisis.

The NLC leadership told reporters that the crisis rocking the leadership of the congress had finally come to an end.

At a press briefing, the governor of Edo state and former leader of the NLC, Adams Oshiomole, said both factions had agreed to work together for the progress of the congress.

He explained that each faction of the congress would have three members in the committee and would be headed by the founding President of the Union to ensure that NLC was run on the basis of inclusion and not exclusion, adding that, as part of the resolution, the court case at the industrial court would be withdrawn.
