North Korea suspends talks with South over Joint drills with U.S

North Korea has announced that it would be suspending today’s talks with South Korea over ongoing joint military drills conducted by Seoul and Washington DC.

The high-level talks, which is a follow-up to late April meeting between North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and South Korean President Moon Jae-in, was expected to take place on the southern side of the truce village Panmunjom.

Meanwhile the move to suspend the talks is reportedly putting North Korea and U.S talks in jeopardy as North Korea is threatening to suspend the US summit as well.
