Peoples Democratic Party – PDP has suspended Ifeanyi Ubah, its Anambra State gubernatorial aspirant, for one month over matters related to indiscipline.
PDP National Caretaker Committee, Publicity Secretary, Dayo Adeyeye, who disclosed this while briefing newsmen at the party’s National Secretariat in Abuja, said the party had referred Ubah and Senator Buruji Kasamu, representing Ogun East Senatorial District, to the party’s Disciplinary Committee.
Adeyeye said the decision was reached by the party’s National Caretaker Committee in line with the PDP constitution.
There had been some disciplinary issues regarding the Anambra governorship primaries, in which Ifeanyi Ubah, who was one of the aspirants, launched a major media attack against the leadership of the party.
