President Muhammadu Buhari commiserates with Abuja bomb blast victims.

President Muhammadu Buhari has visited the National Hospital, Abuja, to see victims of the Kuje and Nyanya bomb blast with a promise that the federal government will pay the medical bills of the victims.

According to the Chief Medical Director of the National Hospital, Doctor Jafaru Momoh, 13 of the 24 people admitted in the hospital have been discharged while death toll remains 20.

President Buhari condemned the attack, calling it a cowardly action by those who carried out the crime and promised to end extremism in the country, reiterating a deadline of December to the military to end Boko Haram.

The President, who was accompanied by Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun State and his personal aides visited the Intensive Care Unit, the Paediatric Unit, and the General Wards of the National Hospital.

Expressing his appreciation of the President’s visit, the Chief Medical Director of the National Hospital, Momoh said it will help the patients’ recovery by giving them a psychological sense of being valued and loved by their country.
