Senator Ita Enang sympathizes with family of Chairman, APC Nsit Atai, Sunday Elijah Akpan

Special Senior Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Senator Ita Enang has sympathized with the family of Chairman, All Progressives Congress – APC Nsit Atai Local Government Area, Obong Sunday Elijah Akpan, on the loss of his father-in-law late Michael Emmanuel Ekpo.

Senator Ita Enang said he received news of the demise of late Michael Emmanuel Ekpo of Iwo Eto, Etinan Local Government Area of with a heavy heart, submitting that his exit has created a big vacuum in the life of his daughter Sarah Sunday Elijah, the family and the community at large.

The senator, who prayed the family to accept his deepest sympathy and sincere condolences, wished late Michael Emmanuel Ekpo’s gentle soul rest in the bosom of God, saying that from records available to him, the late Michael Emmanuel Ekpo was a philanthropist of repute, a peacemaker and a devoted Christian who brought social and economic developments to the people of Iwo Eto Community.

Admonishing the family to be consoled in the fact that their late father-in-law lived a life worthy of emulation, he prayed that the virtues he lived and left behind will be sustained by the members of the family. Michael Ekpo, died on the 13th of October, 2015.
