American rapper, Snoop Dogg is set to make his live theatrical debut in a play called Redemption of a Dogg featuring famed singer Tamar Braxton.
The play is reportedly written, directed and produced by revered playwright Je’Caryous Johnson, and centers around a figure that appears to be based on Snoop himself.
Snoop’s most recent gospel album, Bible of Love, as well as some of his greatest hits will reportedly serve as the play’s soundtrack.
The show is set to debut at the Hobby Center in Houston, Texas on October 5, and make several stops nationwide over the course of a month before wrapping up on November 11 in Washington, D.C.
