The ongoing struggle over who owns the pattern right between Commandclem Nigeria Limited and Exxon Mobil Nigeria Unlimited was almost yet to be decided after the demise of professor Clement Adiamiko Uwemedimo.
A five-man judge of the supreme court in Abuja, had ascertained on the cross appeal brought before them by Professor Bankole Sodipo, on who succeeds the inventor of the anti-corrosive special paint for Mobil, when one Reverend Daniel Onuigbo argued in the same suite that he was authorized to assume headship of Commandclem Nigeria limited.
The presiding judge, Justice Ibrahim Tango, made his pronouncement after cross-examining the two counsels on the matter, and discarded the application filed by Reverend Jesse Daniel Onuigbo, asking him to stand down from the matter and not to contest on the headship position of the company.
Reverend Onuigbo however verbally upheld to the pronouncements of the Supreme Court on the matter.
