United Kingdom allocates 2 million pounds for anti-terrorism technologies

United Kingdom has allocated two million pounds for a nationwide, scientific competition that will allow specialists to submit ideas for technologies that could help reduce the terror threat level in the country.

According to UK Security Minister Ben Wallace, in a statement, the announcement was mandated in light of the horrific attacks in London and Manchester, thereby spurring the government to review its counter-terror strategy.

The two million pounds will be made available to fund research into cutting edge technology and behavioural science projects designed to keep people safe in crowds.
