Venezuela’s President Nicolas Maduro has asked US president Donald Trump to start a dialogue between the two countries.
President Maduro who took to the US president’s alleged favorite medium, Twitter to make the request said Trump had pledged to promote non-interference in the domestic affairs of other countries, adding that it was time to keep the pledge.
Reports say Maduro and senior government officials, including Attorney General Tarek Saab, have alleged that the US is orchestrating an alleged plan for a “military invasion” of Venezuela from neighboring Colombia.
