The National Disaster Management Authority has said at least 60 people have been killed in flash floods across 13 provinces in Afghanistan in the past seven days.
According to the agency in a statement, five people were injured, while 343 homes were destroyed and 663 more partially damaged, by the floods in the affected provinces.
The floods also reportedly killed 600 livestock and destroyed about 392,000 square meters of agricultural land.
