Akwa Ibom 2018 National Safety Engineering Conference to hold this November

The Akwa Ibom 2018 National Safety Engineering Conference, an Annual National Conference of Nigerian Institution of Electrical Electronics Engineers (NI-triple-E), a division of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, is set to hold at Main Auditorium, Ibom E-Library Complex, IBB Avenue, Uyo, between 14th and 16th November, with the theme: Accident Prevention, The role of Government: From a Safety Engineering Perspective.

According to a release made available to PLANET NEWS, signed by the National Vice Chairman and Chairman Akwa Ibom State Chapter of (NI-triple-E),
Engineer Akaninyene Ekong, keynote Speaker for the conference is Director General, Lagos State Safety Commission, Hakeem Dickson. Other guest speakers include, Engineer Thompson Manam, Engineer Martin Agbili, Engineer Dr. Kosisochukwu Nwaoko, Engineer Godwin Umoh, and Dr. Christopher Imumolen, amongst others, with special guest of honour being Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel.

Other guests are Minister for Labour and Productivity; Senator Chris Ngige, Director-General, Standards Organization of Nigeria, Osita Anthony Aboloma, Speaker, Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, Onofiok Luke and Senator Bassey Albert Akpan, Chairman Senate Committee on Gas.

Chairman on the occasion is Engineer Adekunle Mokuolu, President, Nigerian Society of Engineers, while Engineer A. B. Oyedepo, National Chairman Nigerian Institution of Safety Engineers is the host. The conference will feature Safety Walk, National workshop, Membership Inductions for Students, Graduates, Affiliates, Associates, Members and Fellows, Master Classes, Dinner, amongst others.
