At least 12 people killed in Haiti’s earthquake strike

At least 12 people have been killed and about 130 others injured after a 5.9-magnitude earthquake struck off the northwest coast of Haiti.

Reports say the quake damaged homes in the alleged poverty-stricken Caribbean nation.

Meanwhile President Jovenel Moise said he and Prime Minister Jean-Henry had reached “the zone affected by the earthquake to bring assistance to the population” and coordinate relief efforts.

ELSEWHERE: North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has agreed to hold a second summit with U.S President Donald Trump as soon as possible.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said “he agreed with Chairman Kim to hold the second US-North Korea summit at the earliest date possible.
