NLC insist on strike as meeting with FG ends in deadlock

Members of the organized Labour are still insisting on going on strike as scheduled to commence today September 27 after a meeting with the federal government delegation in Abuja ended in a deadlock yesterday.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) President, Ayuba Wabba said that after meeting with the Minster of Labour and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige and other federal government delegation, the failure of both parties to reach an agreement on the issues raised implied that the strike will still proceed as planned.
