President Muhammadu Buhari will today receive the report of the tripartite committee on a new minimum wage following the suspension of the planned nationwide strike by organized labour.
The suspension was announced in Abuja after a closed door meeting of the Committee by the NLC President, Ayuba Wabba who explained that the decision was reached after agreements and documents were signed.
Wabba, however, refused to disclose the exact figure agreed by the committee but noted that the amount would only be made public after presentation of the report to President Muhammadu Buhari later today.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, hailed the resolution of the matter by all parties involved and added that overriding interest of Nigerians prevailed at the meeting.
