U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo set to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un

U.S Secretary of State Mike Pompeo is set to meet North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on Sunday October 7 for a new round of talks on denuclearization.

The U.S Department of State said Pompeo, who is trying to arrange a new summit between Kim and U.S President Donald Trump, will also head to US allies Japan and South Korea, as well as North Korea’s chief ally China.

ELSEWHERE; Canada’s parliament has formally stripped Aung San Kyi of her honorary Canadian citizenship for complicity in the atrocities committed against Myanmar’s Rohingya.

She has become the first person to have her honorary Canadian citizenship revoked.
