The UK has warned Russia that it will pay a “high price” if it continues to use chemical weapons following the Salisbury nerve agent attack.
Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt told his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov that it was not acceptable “to instruct military intelligence officers to use chemical weapons on British soil”.
Russia has however denied the poisoning.
ELSEWHERE – South Africa’s retired archbishop and anti -apartheid icon Desmond Tutu was hospitalised in Cape Town for “ a series of tests.
The Nobel Peace laureate who turns 87 in ten days, was last admitted to hospital in September 2016 when he underwent minor surgery.
