Uyo Capital City development Authority flags off road grading intervention project in Uyo

The Chairman, Uyo Capital City development Authority- UCCDA, Prince Enobong Uwah has flagged off the grading of internal roads within the capital city in Uyo Local Government Area.

Performing the ceremony at Ikot Nsung Ikono, Prince Uwah said the intervention project is part of Governor Udom Emmanuel’s effort to create an enabling environment for economic growth and to ensure that all communities within the capital city are linked up.

While thanking the host community for their support to the Government, He used the occasion to intimate the Ikono Uyo clan of the State Government’s inter ministerial intervention project in about four schools in the clan and assured them of more developmental projects.

Speaking Separately during the event, the Chairman, Uyo Local Government Area, Elder Imo Okon and the Clan head elect of Ikono Uyo, Eteidung Sunday Essiet, appreciated the Governor’s good gesture towards the people and pledged their resolve to support him to continue to do more for the people.

The event also had in attendance, Board members of UCCDA, Chairmen of village councils, Ikono Uyo, Management and Staff of Uyo Capital City Development Authority, community members, among others.
